Quinceañeras · Oxford, Kansas

Room for the court, the vals, and everyonewho came to watch.

A 7,200 square foot hall and a 2,400 square foot covered pavilion, twenty minutes south of Wichita. Bring your own caterer, your own music and your own decorations.

How the day runs here

The Mass is at your parish. The rest is here.

Almost nobody holds the Mass at the venue, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise. The church is the church. What we can tell you is what happens after it, because that is the part that needs 7,200 square feet and somewhere to put three hundred people.

The hall takes the seating and the meal. The pavilion is open-sided and covered, so the vals and the dancing get their own floor instead of being squeezed between tables that have to be moved mid-evening.

Seating
Tables, linens and more than 300 chairs come with the room.
The floor
A 2,400 sq ft covered pavilion, separate from the seated hall.
Your food
Open catering. Bring the caterer your family already uses.
Your music
DJ or a live group, your choice. There is no house vendor list to buy from.

The property

Thirty acres, and somewhere to put every car.

Guest lists for a quinceañera do not behave like wedding guest lists. They are larger, they arrive across a wider window, and a good number of them are driving in from another town.

There is a one-acre parking lot on site, which is the difference between that and three hundred people parked along the shoulder of a county road. Kansas Star Casino is ten minutes away for anyone staying the night.

What is open to you

Four things most halls charge you for.

The rate covers the building and what is in it. Everything below is yours to bring, which is the whole reason the budget stays under your control.

The caterer

No in-house kitchen taking a margin on your food, and no approved list you have to buy from. Bring who you want. The owners verify each vendor before the date and that is the whole process.

The bar

Open. You bring it, so there is no minimum spend to reach and no per-head charge on drinks nobody drank. Serving it is the one part that is not yours: a licensed, insured bartender pours, which is a Kansas licensing requirement rather than a house rule.

The decorations

Black vaulted ceiling, a two-story cathedral window, and no house color scheme baked into the walls. Set-up happens inside your rental hours rather than being billed on top.

The music

The pavilion is open-sided and covered, which is what lets a live group set up without giving up seated tables to do it.

The rate

A Saturday is $6,500. A weekday is $500.

Most quinceañeras land on a Saturday, so here is the Saturday number instead of a form: $6,500, the same rate a wedding pays for the same day, and the same booking. Both suites are yours, with the same access a booked wedding gets. The price follows the day, not the kind of party.

Sunday through Wednesday it is $500 for six hours, with set-up and clean-up inside them rather than billed on either end. The weekday rate is the one that does not include the bridal suite or the groom suite; those come with the full Saturday booking.
