Corporate events · Oxford, Kansas

Twenty minutes outis far enough thatnobody checks email.

Six hours on a weekday runs $500. That is a 7,200 square foot hall with a two-story window, a covered pavilion, and thirty acres, against a hotel ballroom with no windows at four times the price.

What it suits

Three formats this building actually fits.

These are the shapes the space is good at. If what you need is a breakout room and a projector, ask before you book. See the note further down.

The annual dinner

Tables, linens and more than 300 chairs come with the room, and the caterer is yours to choose. Most of what a hotel bills separately is already in the rate.

The all-hands

7,200 square feet under a black vaulted ceiling with a two-story cathedral window at one end. Everyone faces the same direction and nobody is behind a pillar.

The team day

Thirty acres, a creek and a two-acre pond. The pavilion is open-sided, so the outdoor half of the day has somewhere covered to retreat to.

The client event

A one-acre parking lot, ten minutes from Kansas Star Casino for anyone staying over, and twenty minutes from the south edge of Wichita.

The alternative

Not a ballroom with the curtains shut.

Every conference room within twenty minutes of here has the same carpet, the same air, and a per-head minimum on the coffee. The building is designed around a window, and the window looks at thirty acres.

There is a working ranch road in and an acre of parking at the end of it. Set-up and clean-up happen inside your booked hours rather than being billed as an extra line at each end of the day.

The rate

Six hours, $500, Sunday through Wednesday.

One published number, with set-up and clean-up inside it. It does not include the bridal suite or the groom suite, which are held for wedding rentals.

There is power on site, so a stage, a band and the lighting that comes with them have somewhere to plug in. Screens and connectivity are the two to call about before you commit to a format. It is a pre-construction property, and those are worth confirming rather than assuming.

Weekend dates are held for weddings first. When one does open up, a non-wedding event can have it.

Availability

Weekdays are the whole point.

The weekday rate exists because weekends belong to weddings, which means the days you actually want are the ones that are open. The calendar runs two years out.
